An intimate tasting event led by Miki Ellis in the Private Dining Room at Hapa Umi.
Always been interested in sake, but never knew where to go? Only ever tried the "house" stuff and felt the pain the following morning? Or, just need another reason to indulge a bit on a Wednesday?
Come join us at our beautiful waterfront location and learn about or show-off your sake knowledge with a small group of others. Enjoy an evening of 4 small tasting plates designed by Chef Tomoki Yamasaki, paired with 4 Ginjo-Style sakes by in-house sake expert Miki Ellis.
Ginjo, although fairly new to the sake industry, is a style that has come to define the true craft behind the delicious drink. Proven to be much more than a hot alcohol, the range of sakes will be served chilled to reveal the dynamic realm of sake that is becoming comparable to the world of wine.
